MACHINE GUN KELLY
Machine Gun Kellys letztes Album “mainstream sellout” hat weltweit die Charts und Playlisten erobert und ihm einige Nominierungen für die wichtigsten Musikpreise beschert, u.a. ist Machine Gun Kelly zum ersten Mal für einen GRAMMY Award in der Kategorie “Best Rock Album” im Rennen. Neben seinen beiden kommenden Festivalauftritten auf dem Rock am Ring und Rock im Park, dürfen wir uns auf seine einzige Headline Show in der Berliner Waldbühne freuen!
Der aus Cleveland stammende Rapper Machine Gun Kelly erlebte Ende 2011 einen kometenhaften Aufstieg, als er von selbstveröffentlichten Mixtapes zur Zusammenarbeit mit großen Labels überging. Von da an stieg der Rapper zum Superstar auf und jedes seiner Alben landete in den Top Ten der Charts. Während der Jahre veränderte sich MGK’s Sound vom lyrischen Rap-Stil von Alben wie Hotel Diablo (2019) in einen treibenden Emo-Rock-Sound, der in Zusammenarbeit mit Travis Barker entstand. Anfang 2022 veröffentlichte er sein 7. Studioalbum “mainstream sellout“. Mit prominenten Features wie blackbear, Lil Wayne, iann dior oder Young Thug zeigt Colson, wie Machine Gun Kelly mit bürgerlichem Namen heißt, wieder einmal sein vielseitiges Genretalent. Neben den Punkrock-Hymnen “emo girl” mit WILLOW und “maybe” mit Bring Me The Horizon zeigt er mit Songs wie “ay!“ zusammen mit Lil Wayne oder “fake love don’t last“ mit iann dior auch seine Ursprünge aus dem Rap.
Am 07. Juni 2023 dürfen wir uns nun auf ein einzigartiges Live-Erlebnis in der Berliner Waldbühne freuen!

The following items may not be brought to the Waldbühne Berlin:
- bag or backpack larger than DIN A4 (21,0 x 29,7 cm)
- bulky items of any kind (suitcases, baskets, helmets, buggies, stick umbrellas, selfie sticks etc.)
- food and snacks
- technical devices except mobile phones (i.e. notebooks, tablets, cameras, any audio- or video recording devices)
It is allowed to bring necessary medical devices and substances. In this case, please use the entrance for wheelchair users (at the right from the main entrance) and show corresponding proof to the security staff.
Children under the age of 6 are not allowed.
