Due to higher visitor numbers at the Waldbühne and the Olympiastadion, we recommend allowing sufficient time for your arrival and departure. In addition to the S-Bahn and Pichelsberg station, please also use other public transport options, or park-and-ride facilities at Berlin-Spandau station where applicable. For departures from Olympiastadion station, the S-Bahn will provide significantly more trains. We kindly ask you to use this option for your departure in addition to Pichelsberg station.
Pet Shop Boys – DREAMWORLD – The Greatest Hits Live back in Germany
The Pet Shop Boys are finally coming back to Germany. The duo, listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the most successful duo in British music history, will play two shows in Germany this summer. Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe have truly earned this record title: since signing with Parlophone Records in 1985, all 15 of their studio albums have reached the UK Top 10, and a total of 44 singles have made it into the Top 30, four of them reaching number one.
With their live shows, the Pet Shop Boys have created their own style of pop musical theatre. Working with directors, designers and artists such as Derek Jarman, David Alden, David Fielding, Zaha Hadid, Sam Taylor-Wood, Es Devlin and Tom Scutt, they have developed their distinctive form of pop musical, which has been highly acclaimed by critics.
Ihre allerste Greatest Hits-Tour „DREAMWORLD The Greatest Hits Live“ ist nach einem gefeierten Start in Mailand (Mai 2022) mittlerweile in ihrem fünften Jahr und hat Arenen in ganz Europa gefüllt. Fans und die Kritik sind gleichauf begeistert, der London Evening Standard bezeichnete die Show gar als „ekstatische Präsentation von 40 Jahren Brillanz”.
Insgesamt spielten die Pet Shop Boys in über 40 Jahren Bandgeschichte in 63 Ländern vor Millionen und waren als Headliner auf ikonischen Festivals sowie den wichtigsten Bühnen der Welt wie beispielsweise Roskilde, Glastonbury, diversen Ausgaben des Primavera Sound, New Yorks Madison Square Garden, The Hollywood Bowl und Londons Hyde Park, um nur einige zu nennen.
Neben ihrer eigenen Musik haben Tennant und Lowe mit vielen Artists sowie Größen wie Lady Gaga, Madonna, Blur, David Bowie, Yoko Ono, The Killers oder Noel Gallagher zusammengearbeitet und schrieben für das West-End-Musical „Closer to Heaven“, ein Ballett sowie diverse Filme. Zudem traten sie bei den Olympischen Spielen in London (2012) auf und wurden bereits in den 2000ern für ihren außerordentlichen Beitrag zur britischen
Musikszene ausgezeichnet (Ivor Novello Award und BRIT Award).

For safety reasons as well as to accelerate the access controls, we only allow the following items:
- bag or backpack up to a maximum size of DIN A4 (21,0 x 29,7 cm)
- one non-alcoholic drink per person up to 0.5 litres in a Tetra Pak or plastic bottle (PET)
- a cushion and blanket
The following items may not be brought to the Waldbühne Berlin:
- bag or backpack larger than DIN A4 (21,0 x 29,7 cm)
- bulky items of any kind (suitcases, baskets, helmets, buggies, stick umbrellas, selfie sticks etc.)
- food and snacks
- technical devices except mobile phones (i.e. notebooks, tablets, cameras, any audio- or video recording devices)
It is allowed to bring necessary medical devices and substances. In this case, please use the entrance for wheelchair users (at the right from the main entrance) and show corresponding proof to the security staff.
