Where can I buy tickets?

Tickets can be ordered via phone through the hotline +49 (0)1806 5700 70 (0,20 €/call incl. VAT, mobile max. 0,60 €/call incl. VAT) or purchased online through our homepage and Eventim. Furthermore, tickets are also available at local box offices

We would like to address that Waldbühne Berlin doesn’t sell tickets for events but only and exclusively offers leased premises to promoters. The particular tenant (i.e. promoter etc.) is solely in charge of the ticketing as well as the marketing and realization of the event.  All questions regarding the ticket purchase are therefore to be handled by the promoter.

Do I need a tickets for my baby/infant?

Basically, every visitor needs a valid ticket no matter which age. However, exceptions and/or reductions are made at some events. VAT) Please get also in contact with promoter of the concert in order to receive information on particular age restrictions.

Where can I buy tickets for people with disabilities?

For the purchase of tickets suitable for people with disabilities and wheelchair users (occasionally including a ticket for the attendant), please call our ticket hotline via +49 (0)1806 5700 70 (0,20 €/call incl. Where can I buy vouchers for an upcoming event at Waldbühne Berlin?

Unfortunately we do not sell event vouchers, but it is possible to purchase gift vouchers at Eventim which can later be redeemed for an event at the Waldbühne Berlin. 

What happens if an event has been canceled and how do I get a refund?

If an event has been canceled, we will be communicating the official statement of the promoter on the particular event page on our website. Tickets may be returned at the point of purchase.

Where can I buy a concert poster?

We do not sell or give away posters, so we cannot help. Please contact the promoter.

Arrival & Parking

Are there parking spaces near the Waldbühne Berlin?

Only very limited public parking space is available around the Waldbühne. We therefore recommend that you use public transport.

If you do come by car, you can access the public car park P07 through the approach road over Passenheimer Straße (off Heerstraße). The car parks P04 and P05 will also be accessible in exceptional cases. Please note, that the maximum permissable weight for vehicles is 2.8 tonnes. Furthermore, we would like to point out that staying overnight is not possible as the car parks are being closed after the events.

Are RVs and buses allowed on the parking lots?

There are no parking places for buses, coaches or caravans in car park P07, P04 or P05! Only vehicles with maximum permissable weight of 2.8 tonnes are granted access.

How do I get to Waldbühne Berlin via public transport?

S-Bahn
Take the S3 or S9 to S-Bahn station Pichelsberg. From there it's a 10 minute walk t to the Waldbühne.

U-Bahn
Take the U2 to U-Bahn station Olympiastadion. From there it's a 20 minute walk to the Waldbühne.

Bus
Take the bus lines M49 and 218 and get off at the bus stops 'Ragniter Allee' or 'Scholzplatz'.

Are there bicycle stand at Waldbühne Berlin?

Yes, there are 48 bike racks at the Waldbühne for bicycles. They can be found on the foreground of Glockenturm on the right hand side.

Accessability

Is Waldbühne Berlin accessible?

Yes, the Waldbühne Berlin is barrier-free.

  • Disabled parking spaces on the foreground 
  • Barrier-free access 
  • Disabled toilets 
  • Visitors with a disability pass may use the entrance for wheelchair users which is located on the right hand side of the main entrance.

Where are the places for wheelchair users?

12 wheelchair places are available in a separate area. They are located in the upper tier near block K. The view of the stage from this area is good and not only the disabled toilets but also the entrances and exits are nearby. A bench is provided as seating in the separated area for each accompanying person. Should this be insufficient, the stewards will make further chairs available.

Is there a separate entrance for wheelchair users, severely disabled, pregnant women, etc.?

Yes, the entrance for wheelchair users is located on the right hand side of the main entrance and marked with a sign. You must not, under any circumstance, join the queue at the main entrance. Your attendant will of course also get access through this entrance when showing corresponding proof.

Are there separate parking spaces for the disabled?

Please note that access to the disabled-friendly parking spots is only possible via Passenheimer Strasse.
Disabled parking spaces can be found in car park P08 which is about 100 m from the entrance. 
To use these parking spaces you will require either a disability pass proving 70% disability level, or a car identified as a vehicle for the disabled. 

Disabled parking can be reached via Passenheimer Straße.

Is it allowed to bring guide dogs for the blind?

Yes, it is allowed to bring a guide dog.

Are there toilets for wheelchair users?

Yes, these are located near the wheelchair area.

Entry

Are you allowed to take photo or video cameras with you?

It is forbidden to bring any kind of camera to the Waldbühne Berlin; only mobiles and smartphones are allowed.

Can I bring a pram/wheelchair?

Strollers, walkers and wheelchairs are bulky items and may therefore not be brought to the Waldbühne Berlin. Wheelchairs are only permitted in combination with a valid wheelchair ticket for the event. Strollers can be locked at the bicycle stands (on the right side of the Glockenturm foreground) or handed in at our baggage storage for a fee of 5€.

Is there a separate entrance for wheelchair users, severely disabled, pregnant women, etc.?

The entrance for wheelchair users is immediately right of the main entrance and marked with a sign. You must not, under any circumstance, join the queue at the main entrance. Your attendant will of course also get access through this entrance when showing corresponding proof.

Is it possible to bring food and drinks?

Bringing food and snacks to the Waldbühne is generally not permitted. It is allowed to bring one non-alcoholic drink per person up to 0.5 litres but only in a Tetra Pak or plastic bottle (PET bottle). Exceptions defined by the promoter may apply. Which items may be taken on the Waldbühne Berlin?

For safety reasons as well as to make sure the access controls will not take too long, we kindly ask you to only take the following items with you:

  • bag or backpack up to a maximum size of DIN A4 (21,0 x 29,7 cm)
  • one non-alcoholic drink per person up to 0.5 litres in a Tetra Pak or plastic bottle (PET)
  • a cushion and/or blanket

Events

May children under 16 visit an event at Waldbühne Berlin without an adult person?

Under 6 years:
Children under the age of 6 need to be accompagnied by at least one of their parents.

Under 16 years:
Access is only allowed to children and teenagers under the age of 16 when accompanied by an adult and both having valid tickets. A written confirmation by the minors’ parents, stating the compagnion and his/her responsabilities, is needed for access to the event. 
 
Over 16 under 18 years:
Young people aged 16 and older may attend concerts and musical performances until midnight without a guardian.


Deviating from these regulations, different or stricter rules defined by the promoter may apply. Please take all the information given on our website or contact the promoter directly for more detailed information.

When is the visitor's entrance?

Door time is usually two hours before the beginning of the event. The exact time can be seen on our website when clicking on the particular event. We strongly recommend an early arrival due to the access controls.

When should I attend an event at the latest? What if I'm late?

We recommend an early arrival. Please arrange enough time for the access control.

A belated access is always possible regardless of the event.

Is there merchandise to buy?

Yes, there are merchandise stands both on the forecourt of the Waldbühne Berlin on the left and right side and on the forecourt of the Glockenturm. There, the merchandise stand is located right next to the box office. 

I heard that artist XY plays at Waldbühne Berlin, but can not find anything on the website. Where can I get information?

Only the events displayed in our calendar are officially confirmed.

When does an event usually end?

The ending time varies from event to event and is subject to the particular artist/promoter.

Is there a cloakroom at the Waldbühne Berlin?

No, there is no cloakroom at the Waldbühne Berlin. 

Are there any tickets to buy at the box office? How long has the box office been open and where is it located?

If a concert is not sold out, tickets can be bought at the box office which is located opposite the entrance at Glockenturm. The box office opens at door time - the exact time can be seen on our website when clicking on the particular event. 


Please note that our box office does only sell tickets for the event taking place on the same day, not for other events in the future. Please contact the promoter for more information on tickets.

What are the seating arrangement? Which seats offer the best view?

The Waldbühne is built like an amphitheatre and equipped with benches but there is also a standing area in the interior space. A seating plan with photos of the different blocks can be viewed here.

How many seats or standing room does the Waldbühne have?

The Waldbühne has a maximum capacity for 22,290 visitors.
19,640 of them are seats, 2,650 standing room in the interior / in a seating interior max. 1062. An additional 12 wheelchair places.

Is there a Lost and Found lost property or item not picked up at the drop-off station?

If you have lost anything at the Waldbuehne please send an e-mail to: info@waldbuehne-berlin.de

In urgent cases please call us on weekdays between 10am and 6pm on 030 - 74 73 75 00.
Please be aware that lost property is not recovered until 2-5 days after the concert.
